There was a major break Wednesday in a three month old mobile home fraud investigation. Authorities say they have caught up with the man they believe cheated customers out of cash and homes.
Bryan police say two warrants have been issued for the arrest of 50-year-old Sam Prestwood, the former owner of Aggieland Mobile Homes.
Prestwood faces a total of 22 counts of theft totaling more than $180,000.
Authorities began their investigation back in May when 19 Aggieland customers complained that Prestwood had taken their money, but never delivered their homes.
Police say Prestwood has agreed to surrender to authorities Friday, Aug. 27.
