Brenham to Vote on New School

A $10 million bond proposal for a new elementary school now lies in the hands of Brenham residents.

Early voting for the Sept. 11 election started Wednesday and ends September seventh.

The school district plans to use the money to replace the aging Brenham Elementary School campus. Assistant Superintendent Jim Bruce says if rejected, the district will have to put more money into remodeling the more than 50-year-old school.
