It's official, Citigroup is buying First American Bank, but the details of the merger are still unknown.
Tuesday, First American Bank CEO Don Adam announced he was selling his company to Citigroup. Citigroup spokesperson Mark Rogers says it's too early to know what the exact terms of the deal will be.
Rogers refused to speculate about any possible job changes. He does say the company intends to offer continued employment to the existing First American sales force.
Following the acquisition, First American branch locations will be converted to Citibank Financial Centers.
