After a month of number crunching, Brazos County Commissioners have approved the final budget numbers.
Commissioners voted Wednesday to approve the budget that included some last minute changes from Tuesday's public hearings.
Constables will get a 16.8-percent increase in salary. This is the first raise for constables in 10 years.
The court house is also going to hire a Web director in hopes of making more information available to the public online.
Meanwhile, the sheriff's office was cut by $30,000 this year.
The budget totals over $85 million and will take effect Oct. 1.
