AUSTIN (AP) - An Austin-area man accused of killing six people in a cross-country rampage is behind bars in Travis County.

Authorities late Thursday booked Paul Devoe the third into the Travis County Jail on one charge of intentional murder.

A sheriff's office spokesman says other counts are expected in the case.

Devoe is accused of killing six people in Central Texas and Pennsylvania last month.

Among them were his 46-year-old ex-girlfriend and three others at a home near Austin, plus a bartender in Marble Falls.

Devoe was arrested on Long Island in New York and extradited to Texas.
