A&M has completed its first season in the Southeastern Conference with a few athletics achievements some people could never have predicted.

On July 1 last year, A&M and Missouri officially became the 13th and 14th members of the Southeastern Conference.

And a day later the flags of SEC-member schools were raised on the A&M campus.

In the first year A&M boasts several conference championships in various sports, a National Championship in Men's Track, a national runner-up in Women's Tennis, the knocking off of #1-ranked Alabama in football, a Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, and a Cotton Bowl victory over Oklahoma.

A&M also completed the first year under new Athletics Director Eric Hyman with a top 5 ranking in the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup.
