Some A&M Consolidated parents got up extra early today not to take the kids to school, but to do a little cooking.
Just one day before tomorrow's playoff game in Waco, this special Thanksgiving dinner had parents serving up lots of turkey and ham. Parents made sure their football players had plates piled high with potatoes, green beans plenty of dressing, and of course, lots of gravy. Turkey legs were high on the priority list, but players say they're grateful to be with their team.
Consol Coach David Raffield says he brought this tradition to Tigerland to show his team just how much he appreciates them.
