SUBJECT: Vice President for Administration
Rodney McClendon has announced his resignation as Vice President for Administration effective October 31, 2013. Vice President McClendon has served Texas A&M University in this capacity since 2011 and has over 15 years of service in other positions during his employment with the University. On behalf of the entire Aggie family – students, faculty and staff – I thank Vice President McClendon for his leadership and guidance over the years at our great University and wish him well in his future endeavors.
During the interim I have asked B.J. Crain, Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer, to oversee the Division of Administration in addition to the Division of Finance. I am confident she will effectively lead the division during this time of transition.
