A&M vs. LSU One Hot Ticket

The Aggies are red hot.

Not only on the football field but also when it comes to the reselling of tickets to their game against LSU.

TiqIQ is a website that compiles a list of tickets for sale from websites like Ebay and Ticket Network.

Turns out they've noticed one big trend to this week's Aggie game.

"This week it's the top priced game this week in all of college football," said Chris Matcovich with TiqIQ.

Tickets to the LSU vs. Texas A&M game are averaging $328 bucks a ticket. That's $100 more than the average cost of the Texas A&M against Florida season opener at Kyle Field. A 43 percent increase.

With both teams being ranked in the top 20, a rivalry renewed, and a battle with our closest neighbors in the SEC, it's easy to see why tickets are selling for so high on the secondary market.

"Currently there are about 800 tickets available online. That's somewhat low. There isn't a whole lot of quantity available and with the price being higher, you know the demand is still there. It's driving up the price quite a bit," said Matcovich.

But the one hit that the tickets did take was the game's start time. It seems the 11:00 a.m. kickoff slowed down demand but only by a fraction of a crawfish tail.

"I would say it hurt a slight bit but everyone is still going to be pumped up for that game," said Matcovich.

Even parking passes to the game are going for a pretty penny. Private sellers are selling their parking spaces on websites and charging anywhere from $80 to $400 for one parking pass for Saturday's game.
