Law enforcement in Bryan, Brazos County, and Madison County are all investigating burglary cases that involve masked suspects who target ATM's.
Investigators don't know if the same people are responsible for the burglaries, but it's a similar story every time.
The most recent burglary was at the Midway Convenience store in North Zulch. Burglars got away with more than $5,000.
“They bring a crow bar, a big one, and within 3 minutes they take out the money box and run away,” said Syed Hussain, manager at the Midway Convenience Store.
Similar crimes occurred at the Wixon Valley Country Store on Hwy21 and the 4-Corners Convenience Store in Bryan.
In each case, the masked suspects showed up after the store closed for the night, they cut power and phone lines on the roof, then broke into the ATM inside the store.
The suspects got away before police arrived, but they were caught on camera each time.
“They made extreme efforts to hide their identities so we're not a whole lot closer but at least we're seeing a pattern. And maybe someone that's watching this could come up with some information and share it with us,” said Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk.
Anyone with information about the suspects is encouraged to call local law enforcement.
