BRYAN - One man is in the hospital after being hit by truck while checking his stalled car Wednesday morning.
According to Bryan Police, a 76-year-old man was driving south on Texas when his car stalled. Officers say the man got out of his car to check on it when he was hit by a truck. The truck, driven by an 85-year-old man, pinned the 76-year-old car driver.
He was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center and is listed in stable condition. The intersection of Texas Avenue and MLK was shut down for hours while investigators determined what happened. There was also liquids spilled needed to be cleaned up.
The driver of the pick-up truck is cooperating with police.
