ATLANTA The excitement in building in Atlanta, as the Aggies get ready to face Duke in the Chick-fil-A bowl. Fans from both teams are ready to represent.
It's the day before the big event between Texas A&M and Duke. Fans getting into Atlanta to kick off Chick-fil-A Bowl festivities at one of the wildest places in downtown.
Fans drifted into the Georgia Aquarium Monday night. All for a chance to meet other fans and see some pretty amazing animals.
Even with all the cool sights, football is still on everyone's mind.
"Johnny Manziel," answered Connor McCaskill when asked who his favorite player was.
"Probably because he was a Heisman trophy winner. He was the first ever freshman to win it," he continued.
The Texas A&M Yell Leaders brought the spirit, as they get fans ready for the big game."
"Well, we're really excited it's gonig to be on News Year's Eve. We're going to have a lot of energy. We're playing Duke, who we're planning on just rolling over. So it should be a lot of excitement nonetheless, so we're looking forward to it," said Yell Leader Ryan Crawford.
"With the opportunity of the Ags playing here in Atlanta we can't miss it. so we came on down.," said Connor father, Ross McCaskill.
Things on New Year's Eve start with a parade through downtown Atlanta and then the countdown to the Chick-fil-A Bowl at the Georgia Dome begins.
Texas A&M and Duke play in the Chick-fil-A Bowl Tuesday night at 7 pm. You can watch the game on ESPN.
