Aggie Football Fans Celebrate Comeback Win Against Duke

More Video...

COLLEGE STATION, Texas The Texas A&M Aggies got a huge comeback in Tuesday's Chick-fil-A Bowl against the Duke Blue Devils in what very well could be Johnny Manziel's last college game.

Incredible excitement in Atlanta and Aggieland.

News 3 was at The Corner Bar at Northgate where it started out with a lot of excitement and is ending with a lot of excitement.

Fans were optimistic at the start of of the game but by halftime it was looking like Duke would blow out the Aggies.

But Johnny Manziel helped secure a comeback win of 52-48.

Many of the eyes glued to the TVs had their eyes on Aggie Quarterback Johnny Manziel and Wide Receiver Mike Evans as they could soon be heading to the NFL draft.

While Aggie fans we spoke with would love for Manziel to stay another year, they say he'll leave a lasting legacy
.
"I think he was a great player, we're definitely gonna miss him I wish he would stay I don't think he will but I think he was a great addition to A&M and it's sad to see him go," said Chelsea Phillips, a Texas A&M Former Student.

"I know he's had a lot of controversy surrounding him but honestly Johnny's helped this school more than anyone can even put a dollar figure on so although there's a lot of negative stuff with him there's a whole lot more positive," said Gretchen Gerken, a Texas A&M Senior.

Now the wait is on to hear from Johnny Manziel and Mike Evans on their future plans with the new year on the horizon.

News 3 will have more coverage of the victory Wednesday on News 3.
