Aggies Show Support at Bone Marrow Drive for 7 Year-Old with Cancer

Yesterday we told you about a brave little boy battling a fight with leukemia and today people came out to show their support.

All it takes is a swab of your mouth...to find out if you're a good candidate to be a bone marrow donor.
It's being hosted by the university's cancer society and several other organizations, and they cover the $65 it costs to type and register donors.

Amy Roseman, with DKMS Americas, said, "We are registering potential lifesavers to be bone marrow and stem cell transplant donors. This is very important for patients that have blood cancers, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, sickle cell and other blood disorders."

The bone marrow drive is being held on Texas A&M's campus today and tomorrow, from 11am-3pm.
