Air Force Medic Surprises Mom on Birthday

A medic in the U.S. Air Force planned a very special birthday for her mother today at College Station's Post Oak Mall.

Julia Wheat hadn't seen her mom for nearly a year, so she served up a surprise plate at the Casa Ole Restaurant.

“I just love her and I miss her...I owe her everything. Without her I wouldn't be here today. She's helped me with so many difficult things in life,” said Julia Wheat.

Julia flew into Houston Thursday night. Her mom had no idea that Julia would be serving her a birthday lunch at Casa Ole.
