Alleged Burglars Caught Shortly After College Station Break In

COLLEGE STATION A pair of accused burglars are facing charges after police say they were caught in the act of stealing from a College Station apartment.

Jorge Anthony Lozoya, 20 of Bryan, and Charles Anthony Hawkins Jr., 25 of College Station, face burglary and evading arrest charges.

According to CSPD, a resident of the Parkway Place Apartments on FM 2818 caught a pair of men in dark clothing who had broken in and were trying to take a television. The suspects fled on foot, according to the resident.

CSPD says they were on scene within two minutes and found Lozoya and Hawkins, who matched the descriptions given by the resident, near the apartments. Those men then reportedly fled on foot, but were caught after being chased a short distance.
