BRYAN Bryan Police believe they took a meth dealer away from a dumpster and off the streets Friday night.
According to authorities, they came across Stephen Pillow going through trash at the Hospice Thrift Store on Dellwood Street around 10:00 p.m.
Pillow said he was allowed by the owners to look for scrap, but when he was searched, police say they found $475 in cash on him.
Based on their conversation with him, police called in a K-9, which sniffed out 4.8 grams of methamphetamine in Pillow's truck. Plastic bags were also found, so BPD believes the 35-year-old Bryan resident was meaning to distribute the drugs.
Pillow is out of jail on $15,335 bond.
