HOUSTON - UPDATE
An Amber Alert issued Wednesday evening for five missing children has been canceled.
Paris Shaner, 3, Kendalyn Sterling, 4, Stevie Nicholson, 7, Alexander Veasley, 9,and Christian Batiste,13, were left alone in their day care vehicle at a Jack in the Box in the 8600 block of West Bellfort when the car was stolen with the children inside.
Investigators located the suspect, children and stolen vehicle in the 22300 block of Cinco Ranch Boulevard in Fort Bend County around 9:15 p.m.
Deputies said the suspect driving the stolen van with the kids inside stopped for authorities and didn't resist arrest.
Texas Center for the Missing has issued a Houston Regional Amber Alert for the Houston Police Department.
They are looking for 4 missing children, 1 girl and 3 boys, between the ages of 3 and 6 years old who were left alone in their day care vehicle at a Jack in the Box in the 8600 block of West Bellfort when the car was stolen with the children inside.
The names and description of all of the children will be provided as soon as the information is available.
The vehicle is a Gray or Silver, 2009 GMC Acadia, Texas License Plate DCN8277.
The suspect is described as an Hispanic male wearing glasses and a blue shirt.
Anyone with information on the vehicle, suspect or children is asked to immediately call the Houston Police Department at 713-308-3600.
