Amber Alert Issued for Abducted Texas Teenager Canceled

The Amber Alert has been canceled.

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday morning for an Ellis County teenager.

The Ellis County Sheriff's Office is searching for 16 year old Inez Ramirez. Ramirez is a White/Hispanic female who is 5'2" and weighs 130 lbs. She has brown eyes and brown shoulder length hair.

Ramirez was last seen wearing a green shirt, black shorts and flip flops.

Authorities are searching for 23 year old Edger Barton in connection with her abduction. He is a White/Hispanic male with brown eyes and black hair.

Barton is believed to be driving a red 2006 4-Door Chevy Silverado with Texas plates.

Barton and Ramirez were last seen in Red Oak, Texas.
