FM 1791 is back open after flood waters took out portions of the road in Thursday night's storm.
Birdwell, Loma, and Morgan roads have been re-opened in the Huntsville area.
Davis Road is still flooded and expected to re-open Saturday.
11:30 am UPDATE:
Several areas around the Brazos Valley suffered severe damage as a result of Thursday night's storm.
As of 11:30 am Friday, the following roads are closed in Huntsville due to flooding:
The Walker County Office of Emergency Management reports that these roads could be closed until Saturday when the waters subside, assuming we don't get any more storm activity before then.
Parts of FM 1791 in the northern portion of Huntsville (pictured with this article) were washed away as a result of flooding, according to TxDOT. Emergency management officials say FM 1791 could be opened back up as soon as 1 pm Friday.
