Area Resident Arrested For Pot Possession

A Hearne man has been arrested after ten pounds of pot were discovered following a traffic stop in Temple.

42 year old Cody James Rue was booked into the Bell County Jail on Monday and charged with felony possession of marijuana.

After being pulled by police, Rue informed officers he didn't have a drivers license, but admitted to having a baggie of marijuana and consented to a vehicle search.

It turns out he had a little more than a baggie. In fact police discovered ten pounds of weed in his vehicle.
