COLLEGE STATION - The Brazos County Health Department has allowed an Asian food eatery in College Station to reopen after a sewage backup was found during an inspection.
According to the department, inspectors were at the BCS Asian Market on Texas Avenue Tuesday when they looked at the Shun De Mom Express inside. Sewage was reportedly found on the floor in the kitchen, so Shun De Mom was shut down.
Wednesday, the location was reinspected and allowed to reopen. The owners were charged $500.
Shun De Mom says it serves Chinese, Korean and sushi.
