College Station Police Respond to Auto-Pedestrian Accident

College Station Police Department responded to the intersection of Rock Prairie Road and Longmire Drive early Friday morning to an auto-pedestrian accident.

When they arrived on scene, officers found that a female pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle on the southeast side of the intersection.

Further investigation revealed that a 2004 Honda Odyssey was traveling east on Rock Prairie Road in the outside lane.

The Honda struck the female in the crosswalk at the intersection.

The victim was transported to the College Station Medical Center with incapacitating injuries.

The driver of the Honda was not injured and is cooperating with detectives as they continue to investigate this case.

The names of the driver and the victim are not being released at this time.

The intersection was partially closed to traffic until 8:15 AM as crime scene investigators and the accident reconstruction unit gathered information regarding the crash.

Detectives would like to speak with any possible witnesses to this crash.
