BRYAN, TX -- It's estimated that 1200 junior high and high school students made their way to Merrill Green Stadium Wednesday night for the Bryan College Station edition of "Fields Of Faith".
The event was a nondenominational gathering of students grades 7-12 organized by Fellow of Christian Athletes chapters from Rudder, Bryan, Bryan Collegiate, A&M Consolidated, Brazos Christian, and Allen Academy, as well as area churches.
The BCS "Fields of Faith" event started out with worship music led by high school students from Central Baptist Church in College Station and a brief devotional message delivered by George Jacobus, the College Minister from Central.
"Fields of Faith" happenings are being held all over the state. It's estimated nearly 8,000 were in attendance at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene recently.
