Suspect Holds Up Local Convenience Store

A robbery suspect is on the loose Wednesday morning after College Station police say he allegedly held up a local convenience store.

Police say he claimed to have a gun when he robbed the Chevron gas station located in the 4100 block of Highway 6 just before 11 o'clock Tuesday night.

The suspect fled with an unknown amount of cash.

Police have released a description of the suspect.

He is described as a black male with short hair wearing dark colored jeans or pants, a white short-sleeve shirt, and a white baseball cap.
