COLLEGE STATION - The Blinn College Board of Trustees has agreed to move forward with preliminary plans for expanding in College Station with an additional campus.
Wednesday night the board approved a $24.5 million dollar bond for the project.
A Blinn spokesperson says it's the next step in the process, but they are still in the due diligence period meaning they could still back out.
Last month we told you the board approved a contract to purchase nearly 54 acres of land on Highway 6 in College Station including a research facility currently being used by the science and engineering company Lynntech, Incorporated.
