Bryan Police say remains found at a house last month are not human, but bone from an animal.

Last month Bryan Police exhumed the bones at a property at 608 East 24th Street after receiving a tip that possible human remains were buried there in the 1960's.

An anthropologist examined the bones and determined they were animal remains, but police haven't said what type of animal.

Investigators have now closed the case , unless they get new information.
