The sound of rushing water filling the Brazos River is some of the good that came with Wednesday's storms.

On Thursday the Brazos River was resembling a miniature version of the "Mighty Mississippi" after heavy rains fell across the Brazos Valley.

It was somewhat of a scenic sight along the banks underneath the Highway 21 bridge.

But the murky waters also contained quite a bit of debris.

The Brazos River Authority tells us it's all from storm runoff and the river is expected to crest at 25 feet.
