"Oh beautiful Callie! Absolutely beautiful Callie!" exclaims Photographer, Kathlyn Dragna, as she snaps pictures of Callie in a beautiful bed of bluebonnets one Sunday evening.

Kathlyn Dragna makes dreams come true, particularly for this bride-to-be.

"Since I was extremely little I've always wanted to get married in the Bluebonnets in Brenham, Texas," says Callie Ondruch. "We met at school at Blinn here in Brenham and one night he set everything up so it was just me and him and the horse drawn carriage and about halfway through the lights he proposed."

Spring time is a an essentially busy time of year for Dragna.

"Spring is very busy for weddings in Texas, especially in this area, it's not hot yet and it's beautiful," Dragna explains.

As a wedding planner at Pure Elegance in Brenham, Jennifer Beaudet would also agree...

"We see brides from all over Texas," says Beaudet, "We actually see a lot that come in from out of state."

Because of beautiful Bluebonnets and wildflowers blooming all over Washington County, Mother Nature's colorful gift has made this place a wedding destination attraction.

"Everything is beautiful and just green," says Beaudet.

Beaudet and her team know flowers better than most...

See this, this is actually lettuce, it's all about texture," adds Beaudet as she describes the bouquet of flowers she created.

"They can actually capture the vision of a bride and it doesn't have to just replicate her bouquet," says Beaudet.

Although wildflower season got to a slow start this year...

"We actually rescheduled the portraits so I could be in the bluebonnets," Laughs Ondruch.

It's moments like these that make every bride's perfect day one to remember.

Callie Ondruch's big day is Saturday. She and her fiance will tie the knot at First United Methodist Church in Brenham.

Hey KBTX, why didn't you post my comment asking why this "news" story, which sounds like a paid advertisement for a photographer and wedding planner, was even run?
