Brothers Arrested in Bryan Drug Bust

Two brothers are out of jail Saturday after being arrested in connection with an investigation of cocaine sales in Bryan.

Roy Edward Arevalo, 39, is charged with possession with intent to deliver of a controlled substance.

According to investigators, a search warrant was issued after an investigation into cocaine sales from Arevalo's residence.

Police say he was found with more than 5 grams of cocaine packaged for individual sale.

Arevarlo also reportedly had a large amount of cash, some of which was wrapped around medallions featuring the patron saint of drug traffikers, and nearly seven ounces of marijuana.

Police say his brother, Ben Arevalo, III, was found with cocaine and marijuana in his vehicle, as well as items used to prepare drugs for consumption.

Ben Arevalo is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
