UPDATE: 19-year-old Trevor Williams was taken off of life support and died after being taken to St. Joseph Regional Health System in Bryan overnight Sunday.

He was found with a gunshot wound to the head by neighbors around 11:30pm Sunday.

Previous Story:

Neighbors of 19-year-old Trevor Williams called 9-1-1 after seeing him on the ground in his apartment.

Around 11:30 Sunday night, Bryan Police got a call and responded to the 4400 block of Carter Creek Parkway. When they arrived they found Williams with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

The Bryan Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene.

Neighbors are worried about this violent crime happening so close to their homes.

"Makes you worry a little," said Crystal Marshall. She lives next door to Williams.

Marshall says that she and her boyfriend stayed up rather late last night and didn't hear anything out of the ordinary. She's lived at the April Court Townhomes about a year and a half... and hasn't seen a lot of her neighbor.

"He'd have people park in our spot all the time. I'd have to ask him to move," remembered Marshall.

"This is not your typical type call that we respond to in this neighborhood," said Officer Kelly McKethan with the Bryan Police Department.

McKethan said that investigators didn't have reason to believe this was an attempted suicide or accident.

There is no suspect information available at this time.
