The Bryan City Council is considering holding off on ordering 60 new golf carts for the Travis B. Bryan Municipal Golf Course.
City staff are hoping to have more options to consider after only E-Z-Go Golf Carts submitted proposals in September for the purchase of the carts which could cost up to $64,000.
The city purchased new golf carts in September 2008 and since that time two have been stolen while the remaining carts need increased maintenance.
City staff are suggesting the council wait on purchasing carts until next year and see if more bids come in so that they get the best price.
Efforts are continuing to improve the municipal golf course and increase customers.
The meeting begins Tuesday night at 6.
