BRYAN - You’ll get a second chance to catch some classic 80’s movies during the Downtown Bryan Association's Second Saturday Summer Movie Series.

The Palace Theater will show a “retro” movie at 8:30 p.m. on the second Saturday of June, July and August. Admission is free and concessions will be available, also at retro prices. Movie goers are encouraged to come in costume appropriate to each movie.

June 14 - Back to the Future: In this 1985 release, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is accidentally sent 30 years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his friend, Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd).

July 12 - A Christmas Story: Set in the 1940's, this classic tells the story of Ralphie, who tries to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa that a Red Ryder B.B. gun really is the perfect gift.

August 9 – Ghostbusters: Three unemployed parapsychology professors (Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis) set up shop as a unique ghost removal service.
