Police say they have arrested a Bryan man in connection with a shooting that put College Station's Lincoln Recreation Center on lockdown on December 19th.

Marcelino Herrera, 18, was arrested by College Station police Thursday afternoon on a warrant for his arrest last month. He is charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon, making a terroristic threat and disorderly conduct.

The shooting in question took place on December 19th in the 1000 block of Eleanor in College Station. Dispatch had received a number of calls reporting shots had been fired in the area and that suspects were fleeing the area in their vehicles. Witnesses had reported seeing someone fire a gun out of the window of a vehicle many times. CSPD says they were able to recover shell casings at the scene.

Police have not released the name of a second suspect they believe is involved.
