One last round of rain & thunderstorms is moving through the Brazos Valley tonight -- along and ahead of an approaching cold front. Winds upwards of 40mph will be possible along & ahead of this activity. The winds subside once the rain begins, however, a quick 0.25" of an inch of rain is possible and dime size hail cannot be ruled out. These storms should be south of the Brazos Valley by 2am.
Bryan police have arrested a College Station man and accused him of the murder on Carter Creek Parkway Sunday.
Marcus Watson Jr., 23, had been arrested Tuesday by CSPD on what police say is an unrelated drug charge. While in the Brazos County Jail, he was served a warrant for the murder of Trevor Williams.
Williams, 19, was found shot in the head in his home late Sunday night, and died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan.
Bond for Watson Jr has been set at $200,000.
According to county records, this is the seventh time Watson has been in the Brazos County jail since April 2010. Most of the charges were drug-related.
Authorities have not released a possible motive for Sunday's murder.
