A Local service organization is celebrating nine decades of fellowship.
The Bryan Noon Lions Club is now 90-years-old.
Tuesday night at the Brazos Center in Bryan, members and guests celebrated the big anniversary.
The group is a driving force of community service including putting out nearly 800 American Flags around the community on patriotic holidays.
They also support Boy Scouts, offer scholarship money to students, and assist those in need.
"Our Lions Club was organized on June 23rd, 1923 at the Bryan Hotel in Downtown Bryan and we've operated continuously since then. So we're celebrating our ninth decade of service to the community," said Uel Stockard, Past President of the Bryan Noon Lions Club.
KBTX and KWTX General Manager Mike Wright was the guest speaker at the event.
