Police Make Arrest in Bryan Pawn Shop Armed Robbery

Bryan police arrest a man they say held up a Bryan pawn shop back in November.

BPD says Robert Guevara is now in the Brazos County jail after being arrested in Pueblo, Colorado during a search warrant back on January 16th.

Guevara's bond is set at 43-thousand dollars.

The aggravated robbery happened at the Cash America Pawn shop on Texas Avenue.

Bryan Police say Guevara entered the store and demanded money and merchandise.

He reportedly showed a gun and fired multiple shots inside the store.

Police say there were four employees and several customers inside the store at the time.

No one was hurt.

Update: On January 16, 2014 Robert Guevara was arrested in Pueblo Colorado for the robbery that occurred at Cash America Pawn in November of last year. A theft $50-$500 warrant was also served on Guevara at the same time. He was transported to the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office on January 28, 2014 where he has a $43,000 bond.

Bryan Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at a pawn shop on Texas Avenue Sunday.

In a press release Monday, Bryan Police say that a male entered the Cash America Pawn around 4:30 Sunday afternoon and demanded money and merchandise. The man showed a gun and fired multiple shots inside the store. Police say there were four employees and several customers inside the store at the time.

No one was injured.

The man left the store on foot with property and money.
