One Dead in Bryan Motorcycle Crash

A motorcycle crash in Bryan has left one dead.

The crash happened at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 2700 block of North Earl Rudder Freeway. The motorcycle appears to have left the roadway and lost control in the median.

The driver, 33-year-old Jason Shiller, was not wearing a helmet and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan where he was pronounced dead.

After being closed for a few hours after the accident, the northbound lanes of Highway 6 are now back open.
