Bryan Woman Arrested after Crashing into Police Car

BRYAN A Bryan woman is in the Brazos County Jail after crashing into a Bryan police car.

It happened around 10:30 Tuesday night at Texas Avenue and 22nd street near Downtown Bryan.

Bryan police tell us that Tonya Amerson failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign on 22nd Street and collided with the police car traveling on Texas.

The police officer was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Amerson was arrested for driving with a suspended license and prior convictions.
