A Bryan woman will spend the next 30 years in prison for hiring a hitman to kill her husband.
Brazos County Jurors convicted Nancy Gelber Monday of solicitation to commit capital murder. She faced up to life in prison for the crime.
The Brazos County Sheriff's Office says Gelber met with an investigator posing as a hitman in a parking lot near the LaSalle Hotel, a short walk from where she lives. She offered her wedding ring as a down payment and $60,000 dollars once the life insurance from her husband's death came through.
