CONROE - Police in Montgomery County are searching for a group of suspects who took eight air conditioning unites with a total estimated value of $35,000 from a Conroe church.

Authorities say the burglars came through woods behind the church and in the back of the River Pointe Baptist church, turned off the power and cut the lines to the units.

Four of those units weighed a couple thousand pounds.

The church had the stolen units replaced and installed a security system.
