Investigators believe the SUV they found engulfed in flames at the bottom of a sand pit in College Station was a stolen vehicle.

The South Brazos County Fire Department says around 3 p.m. Saturday they were called out to the 4600 block of Koppe Bridge Road. When they arrived to the scene, they found the burning SUV, but no one around.

The Brazos County Sheriff's Office is assisting with looking into the cause of the fire.

No one was injured.
