WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama has met with former President George H.W. Bush and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in the Oval Office.

The White House did not immediately release details on the meeting Friday.

Obama is scheduled to speak Saturday at the Alfalfa Club dinner, an annual event for Washington's movers and shakers. The former president and his son are attending the dinner.

The 87-year-old former president used a wheelchair during the meeting. Bush spokesman Jim McGrath says the former president is in "fine health and he's not in any pain" but has become increasingly reliant upon using a wheelchair and a scooter.

hw bush was a great man and the only real conservative president this country has had in my life time. he cut spending, and raised taxes to pay for his war. Imagine that actually figuring out how to pay for something at the same time that you decide to do it.
