CASA of Brazos Valley to Host Dog Tired of Child Abuse

In recognition of April as Child Abuse Prevention Month, Voices For Children – CASA of Brazos Valley and Scotty’s House Child Advocacy Center are hosting the first ever Dog Tired of Child Abuse event:

What: Dog Tired of Child Abuse – a fun, family-friendly event that allows our community to be a voice for children who need one. Includes a hot dog eating contest, with prizes given for first, second and third place in each age category (5-8 years, 9-12 years, 13-16 years, 17 and up). Registration fee is $25 per person. The deadline to register is April 15, 2013.

When: 10 a.m. – Noon, Saturday, April 20, 2013

Where: Sue Haswell Park, 1142 E. William J. Bryan Parkway (Pavilion B), Bryan, TX

Benefit: Proceeds from the hot dog eating contest will benefit Voices For Children, Scotty’s House and the abused and neglected children they serve every day.
