Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible, across the Brazos Valley, Saturday afternoon and evening. Winds in excess of 40-60mph are the main concern, within the strongest activity. An isolated, brief tornado threat cannot be ruled out. Heavy rainfall between 1" and 3" has the potential to cause localized flash flooding in a few locations.

The Woodlands, TX -- On Friday, June 27, 2014, at approximately 12:15 PM, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a robbery call at the Chase bank located in the 4700 block of West Panther Creek Drive, in The Woodlands, Texas.
Bank employees advised that three males entered into the bank utilizing the front entry/exit doors brandishing handguns. Reportedly two of the males jumped over the counter, giving orders and demanding money. Bank employees complied with the suspects' commands. The suspects fled the location with an undisclosed amount of money and proceeded into a waiting vehicle. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Units responded to the location and located the vehicle that the actors fled in, still running, un-occupied, at a nearby location. The vehicle was listed as a stolen vehicle out of the City of Houston. The suspects in the robbery have not been located at the time of this media advisory. No one was injured during the reported robbery Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Units and Crime Scene Investigators responded and are still investigating at the scene. The investigation is on-going and investigators are in the process of reviewing evidence.
Description of the suspects are black males all wearing baseball caps, rags over their faces, dark colored long sleeve shirts, dark colored pants, and gloves.
