A FLOOD WATCH has been issued for the following counties: Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Trinity, Waller, Walker & Washington counties through Thursday night. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been issued for Lee, Milam, Robertson & Leon Counties through Thursday night. Widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible through Thursday night. Some areas may even see totals of 5 to 7 inches of localized rainfall.
Police say the search for an 81-year-old College Station man who had been missing since around 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening is over.
Police said Wilfred Dacus was last seen driving a silver 2003 Ford pickup at the HEB at William D. Fitch in College Station but was found unharmed at around 11p.m. The search lasted a little more than three hours.
