A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Milam, Robertson, Leon Counties until 9pm Monday, for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery,San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties until 7pm Monday, and for Lee county until 1am Tuesday. Widespread 2" to 4" rain accumulations are possible through Monday, with localized 8" to 11" possible.
COLLEGE STATION Police have released the identity of a man they say led them on a chase through College Station Thursday morning that ended with the suspect crashing into a tree.
Nicholas Bell, 20, of Houston was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle and evading arrest.
Investigators say it started when Bell pulled a gun on a driver in Houston and stole his car.
A G-P-S tracker signal was picked up in College Station just before 10 a.m.
College Station Police started chasing the suspect down streets near the Lincoln Center before the driver crashed into a tree outside the South Gate Village Apartments.
Bell was taken to a local hospital to be checked out before he was taken to jail.
