BURLESON COUNTY- We all have milestone birthdays every now and then, but not everybody makes it as far as Mary Maresh of Caldwell.
Ms. Maresh turned 105 years old on Monday.
The crew at St Joseph in Burleson County threw a party for her, complete with proclamations from Congressman Bill Flores's Office and Texas Governor Rick Perry celebrating her achievements.
Mary Maresh rode in to Texas on the orphan train from New York at the age of two back in 1911. It brought orphans from overcrowded northeast foster homes, and she's been a Texan ever since.
