Cameron HS Football Team Honored with U.S. Army Award

The Cameron Yoe football team is being honored as 2A Army Strong Team of the Year by the US Army.

As reported by radio station KMIL, Cameron Coach Rick Rhoads says the team was selected by the U.S. Army & Dave Campbell`s Texas Football magazine. The team will be honored with a trophy presentation this Friday at the half time of the Yoemen basketball game with Rosebud Lott.

The award is given annually to one team for showing the Army's values of loyalty, duty, respect, selfless-service, honor, integrity, and personal courage throughout the season.

The Cameron Yoeman football team won the 2012 Class 2A Division I State Championship and finished with an undefeated season of 15-0.
