Candle Lighting Ceremony Memorializes Brazos Valley Children

Brazos Valley children who've passed away were remembered during a memorial service in Wixon Valley.

Nine children were honored during the Candlelight Service at Faith Bible Church for the Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting Ceremony.

The memorial service included a message, music, and was a time for friends and families to reflect on the life of their child who's passed away.

"It's a worldwide service. Compassionate Friends is a self-help bereavement group for families who've lost children to any condition, at any age," said Bradley King, of the Nathan Michael King SIDS Foundation.

One of those recognized Sunday night included Rudder Rangerette Lauren Landmark who was killed in a car accident during Spring Break.
